All Ages, All Level’s, All Styles
Arlette offers private vocal instruction in half hour, forty-five
minute, and one-hour time-blocks. She teaches basic vocal technique
that can be applied to all voices and styles of music at any
age or level of ability. Her students run the gamut from seven
year-olds who love to sing, to professional performing artists
honing their craft. Something all of Arlette’s students
have in common is that they love to sing and are committed to
developing their voice to its best ability while having fun!

or 45-minute lessons are recommended for most students. Weekly
lessons are ideal. Bi-monthly lessons are also optional for
more advanced singers or students with scheduling difficulties.
A minimum of 2 lessons a month for six months, or twelve lessons
total are required to be in Arlette’s studio. Some discounts
or work-study options are available for a few students with
financial hardship.

ABOUT
ARLETTE MARIE
Arlette Marie Buckley is an accomplished teacher and performer.
She has been teaching voice privately and at the university
level in the Bay Area for over 6 years. She has taught on the
faculty of the Oakland School for the Arts, the East Bay Center
for the Performing Arts, and is currently part-time faculty
in Voice at the University of San Francisco. She has maintained
a private voice studio for six years in San Francisco, San Jose,
and Oakland. She has also taught performance preparation classes.

Arlette is trained as a musical theater and an opera singer with
degrees from the Cultural Arts Center, Carnegie Mellon University,
and San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She has performed opera
and musical theater roles as well as extensive recitals throughout
the country. She is currently a commuter student in Cantorial
Studies at the Academy for Jewish Religion, CA in Los Angeles,
and is looking forward to receiving her Masters in Jewish Music
and Ordination as Hazzan in 2010. |
